Not only does she keep the wheels of our organisation turning, she is also a befriender and matches our volunteers with clients to ensure the perfect fit, allowing real friendships to develop.

Kate has spent a lifetime crunching the numbers and puts her wealth of experience to good use managing our budgets and expenses to ensure our numbers are always in the black! As a volunteer, Kate is a befriender whose weekly visits always involve a good chat, plenty of tea and of course a nice slice of cake.

Ann Duncan

Jean has been a volunteer befriender for over 8 years, and she takes pleasure in hearing people's life stories, finding common grounds, and having a really good laugh.

Steve is deeply involved with the visitors to the centre, and enjoys taking 5 minutes out to sip on a mocha and catch up with what's going on.
